KIDSGAMES 2010 IS OVER AND WAS A GREAT SUCCESS - GO TO THE MAX SPORTS PAGE FOR OTHER SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS!!

What is KidsGames?

KidsGames is an amazing sport and arts outreach program designed for kids ages 4yrs-6th grade.  Kids participate in a variety of sports and arts, as well as a Compassion project, Bible story time, Music, and Small Group time.  Last year, 40% of the kids attending KidsGames were either unchurched or not from NCCC!

KidsGames is now in every country around the world. Starting in the year 2000 in Cairo Egypt, it has grown rapidly around the world. NCCC has been one of the first cities to bring KidsGames to the United States. Being part of this world wide initiative has been able to expand our outreach through the international language of sport.

MAX Sport

Max Sport Summer Camp is North Coast Calvary Chapel’s first ever value-based sports camp.  In a humble effort to show gospel fruit at work in the hearts of God’s children, Max Sport is focused on the overflow of a faith-fueled life.  The camp will teach the fruits of the spirit as moral values that are learned with maturity in the midst of a fun, simple, and healthy competitive sports atmosphere!

Unlike the famous Kids Games, Max Sport will be on a smaller scale with a more lax, personal atmosphere and a focus modeled by gospel values rather than the gospel itself.  Essentially promoting the sizzle not the steak.  Each day will start with stretching to ensure safety and proper form followed by coached clinics for the desired sport.  Every camper then will practice different CORE strengthening exercises with snack and hydration times in between.

Value(s) taken from Galatians 5:22-23 will theme each day of the week with Coach Max’s Crazy Daily Challenge ending the mornings upbeat, encouraged, and full of smiles for the ride home.  There’s even rumor of the premier of Crud War on the Fridays of each week. Don’t know what that is? Just be there, it’s beyond epic.
