TRAINING & EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES...

TANDEM WOMAN-TO-WOMAN MENTORING MINISTRY
Tandem is a unique opportunity to grow in your faith. Tandem prayerfully matches mentors with mentees in special friendships in which the older woman models Christian living for her younger friend.

If you have walked with the Lord for a number of years and have learned how to trust Him, rely on Scripture and love others, please consider becoming a Tandem mentor. If you have been a believer a short time or if you are in a new season of life and you desire a more mature Christian woman to encourage you, join Tandem as a mentee. Mentors and mentees commit to the relationship for six months. Mentor training and inspiring group activities are included.

Through our study in Daniel, we will study how to boldly live in our modern-day Babylon without falling prey to its allure. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressure to compromise his faith in a hostile culture and was constantly confronted by temptations and threats, today's believers face similar trials. Daniel models how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world.

Hearts in Devotion
"Set your affections on things above, not on things of the earth. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory." (Col. 3:2-4)
WHAT: We are a group of women who have a common love of devotionals and have formed a reading and sharing group which includes both modern and classical devotional writings from Oswald Chambers "My Utmost for His Highest" to "Streams in the Desert".
WHEN: Once a month. Starting in January 2007, our meetings will be on the fourth Thursday of each month from 9:30-11:30am. (No childcare as of yet provided.)
WHERE: We are meeting in Rm. 206 at NCCC.
WHAT TO BRING: Choose one or two of your favorite devotionals to read and to share the speacial meaning it has had to you personally. Please keep a journal during the month to write your notes and comments. Sign up at the Women's Table after services or call Donna 760-929-0029 x138.

A community of women are available to meet the special needs of the women of NCCC as they arise. If you have needs in the area of transportation, if you would like another woman to visit or call you or need a meal to be provided during an illness, or would like to have women pray, please contact us! 760.929.0029 x185.
