Purpose
Our purpose in Missions is to encourage everyone to become involved on some level. You may do so locally by feeding the homeless or reaching out to military wives at Camp Pendleton. Globally we have short-term mission trips available at different times of the year. Whichever you choose, we would be pleased to show you how to get started in the Lord's work.

Promoting the Kingdom of God

Promoting the Kingdom of God on the earth is an awesome responsibility. Jesus came preaching and teaching that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. His total focus was to promote God’s Kingdom. In His last words he commanded the saints to "Go and make disciples of all nations" and later in Acts 1:8 he said, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Jesus opened the way for us to follow in his footsteps and he promised us the grace and the power to accomplish his will.

Jesus was an example of love in action powered by the Holy Spirit to promote the Kingdom of God. It is now our calling to pick up the cross and follow him in his missions to redeem the lost, and ultimately to open the way for Christ to return for his bride and usher in the Kingdom of Heaven to rule over the earth.

Ask Jesus what you can do to promote His Kingdom in your families, your neighborhood, your workplace, your playgrounds, in your church and in your community and to the ends of the earth. Yes we are all called to proclaim the good news about the love of Jesus Christ and promote His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Join the Missions Team at North Coast Calvary Chapel as we step out with Christ in our community, across the borders and oceans to promote all that he is doing to welcome his Kingdom here on earth.
