GIVING TO MISSIONFinancial Community Impact
Each offering goes to a specific strategic area where we as a church are focusing to bring Christ’s provision and grace to those in need. Throughout the Bible we see a huge emphasis on believers to care for the fatherless, orphans, widows, sojourners, as well as the poor and needy. “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice” (Proverbs 31:8-9 NLT). Our first quarterly offering of 2020 will be to protect the vulnerable. At North Coast Calvary Chapel we have partners both locally and globally who are working with those most vulnerable to being oppressed. In Thailand, Cambodia and Nepal who are working with orphans, in India we are caring for widows, and locally our partners who are working with homeless youth, refugees, and kids at risk in tough neighborhoods. Give here.
Giving can be done with our time, talents and treasure. Financial giving is a form of worship, a blessing offered to all God’s children – for “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt 6:21). At NCCC we are stoked to give, and are blessed in it (not for it). So we give freely and cheerfully, as we have been blessed by God. Giving to NCCC ‘Mission: Community Impact’ should be over and above your regular tithe, and may be done a number of ways.
* Though we will always seek to honor the intent of your donation, any contributions (as with all 501c(3) orgs) are non-refundable, non-directable and non-transferable. So budgeting will be done according to NCCC’s prayerful discernment. If this is a concern for you, please chat with us, or give directly to the partner of your choice.
