We’re so excited for your decision to follow Jesus. Whether you found this page by perusing, or you responded  to a recent invitation to receive Jesus and were given a link to it, we want you to know that we are here for you. Here are recommended next steps:

STEP 1: Please CLICK HERE to fill in a brief form for us to connect with you.

STEP 2: Tell a spouse, friend or loved one about your decision for Christ so that they can keep encouraging you and be praying for you.

STEP 3: Step in our One-to-One Mentoring, a safe, healthy, Biblical and valuable short-term experience with a man or woman, depending on your gender, whois just a little bit further down their journey with Jesus. Scroll down for more information under Women/Men.

STEP 4: Grab a Bible if you have one, or purchase a Bible, and begin reading Ephesians, chapter 1, 1 John and then the Gospel of John. All Bibles should have a Table of Contents for your convenience.

Community Groups

Want a deeper connection with God and others? Small Groups are a place to connect, grow and serve. Most of our groups are currently connecting through Zoom, an easy platform to jump in on.

1 TO 1 MENTORING FOR WOMEN

Our desire as mentors is that every woman who joins 1-on-1 Mentoring as a mentee will feel loved, encouraged and eager to grow in her faith. Our commitment is to “proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:28

Topics are personalized for each woman and her situation. These typically include:

  • How to know God personally
  • Asking questions
  • Reading and discussing the Bible
  • Sharing and praying
  • Being encouraged by her mentor’s faith experiences

1 TO 1 MENTORING FOR MEN

he men who come to us who are searching for truth or are new believers in Christ can expect to find mature Christian men ready to love and encourage them. Mentors and mentees are prayerfully matched. Each pair meets regularly to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18

Topics of study individually tailored for each man include:

  • Experiencing God’s grace
  • Learning the Bible and praying effectively
  • Knowing the love of Christ
  • Trusting God in times of adversity
  • Sharing your faith with others
  • Becoming a servant leader

COUNSELING & RECOVERY

Marriage & Family Ministry offers a free assessment/referral counseling service (standard policy provides 1 to 3 counseling appointments).  There are several professional pastoral counselors available in person, via Zoom or by phone. Please dial 760-929-0029 ext 191 and leave a message for one of our staff to call you back for an appointment.
