At Pine Valley Bible Conference Center
Check out the camp!REGISTER

We are going to have a great week at camp. Here is some NEW information.

1. Pine Valley has given our campers permission to arrive anytime after 4:30 pm – yay.
Please don’t arrive BEFORE 4:30 – we will not be set up to receive you.
And, please try to arrive NO LATER than 5:30. This will give us enough time to settle in and be on time for dinner at 6:00.

If you should end up arriving after 6, please take your child straight to the dining hall.

2. When you arrive…pull into the main entrance and look for our volunteers, who will direct you to the drop-off area.

3. The weather is going to be HOT, especially Sunday and Monday. Then a little cooler Tuesday & Wednesday.

4. DYE WARS. We will have water wars and dye wars one afternoon. Bring one shirt you don’t mind getting dirty. The dye does wash out.

5. NURSE. Kathleen Mickus will once again be our camp nurse. If your child has medication, there will be a separate table at drop-off. You can also visit with her about any allergies or special medical needs. Kathleen has two kids at the camp, and your kids will be in good hands.

6. ARTS & CRAFTS. This will be one of the optional activities in the afternoons. Projects will each cost $3-4 for supplies.

All kids who will be in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades during the next school year (2023-2024) are invited to Surge Summer Camp, August 6-10, 2023 at Pine Valley Bible Conference Center.

What’s camp like?

Pine Valley Camp is an awesome place for 4th, 5th and 6th graders! There’s lots to do outdoors, from swimming to zipline to dirt scooters to laser tag, hikes, campfires, water relays, archery, arts & crafts, and more. We meet for devotional sessions in the morning as well as a night program with music and a message each evening. Kids are housed in cabins with 8-9 other campers. Your son or daughter will come home with lots of stories to tell and good memories.

What’s the cost?
Camp cost of $420 includes lodging, meals, and bus transportation home. *Families are responsible for transportation to camp on Sunday, August 6. We expect the camp can receive us at 5:00 pm. We will update this as we get more information.

A $200 non-refundable deposit (except in cases of illness) required to hold your spot. (see sign up info below)

When do they go?
Sunday, August 8, camp will begin with dinner at 6 pm. (Check-in will begin at 5.)  Bus for home will leave at 11 am on Thursday, August 10, and get home to NCCC around 12:30 PM.

Who are the counselors?
NCCC’s 4th-6th grade ministry will provide counselors to go to camp with our kids. Many of these awesome counselors are the same leaders your child sees in the 4th-6th class during weekend services. Kids are well supervised by counselors that NCCC knows and trusts. All counselors must pass a background check including fingerprinting.

Can my child request their roommates?
Yes! We will always do everything we can to honor roommate requests. If we cannot arrange your requested roommate, we will reach out and let you know.

Is my child ready for camp?
In most cases, YES! Camp is a stretching experience, and you will be amazed by how your child can grow from it. If it’s your son or daughter’s first time away, please let us know so we can keep an eye out and shed some extra TLC on them.

How do I sign up?
REGISTER HERE. A $200 deposit is due with your registration (refundable only if there is someone else waiting to fill the spot). In cases of illness, we will work with you on a refund. Please do not send sick kids to camp!
