Hi, my name is Becky Palmer! I am blessed with the privilege of teaching a 3-year-old class. I am excited for this new year and the opportunity to teach and
walk alongside your child to help them grow. I graduated from Biola University with a degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Human Development, as well as minors in both Psychology and Biblical Studies.

I have loved working with children in a variety of settings! For 6 years, I taught summer Art Camps all throughout North County for 3-6 year olds and loved it! I also have taught Children’s Ministry for over 14 years. Additionally, I provided childcare for churches and small groups, as well as private childcare and nannying for over 12 years. Furthermore, I have interned in an Occupational Therapy practice and volunteered for numerous years with programs for children with special needs. My passion for working with children has also included working for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child and Feeding San Diego to help less fortunate children all over.

In 2021, I married my best friend, Will. When I’m not at school, we love to go explore beautiful places outside, create art, spend time with friends and family, and visit our favorite eateries like Chick-fil-a and Cheesecake Factory. I do not like coffee or tea, but I adore baking and love sweets and chocolate (especially dark chocolate).

I love working with preschoolers and seeing their creativity and joy for life. I believe learning can and should be fun and enjoyable! Working with our littlest kids is special because I get to help them build confidence and independence. My favorite part is watching a child’s face light up with a smile when they realize how capable they are, and they feel so proud.

The most important lesson I believe that children should learn at this age, from teachers and parents, is how loved and valued they are by God. My favorite verse is Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
