Providing a Meaningful Wedding Experience
Celebrate your special day in a picturesque, Tuscan-inspired chapel and garden—with thoughtful premarital support, booking guidelines, and a welcoming team committed to helping your wedding run seamlessly.
Welcome
It is with great joy that we begin this process of helping you celebrate your upcoming wedding day! The North Coast Calvary Chapel wedding team is committed to doing the best job we can to make this day run smoothly, safely and succinctly as possible. Here are a few steps to take before getting started:
1. We ask that you please take a few minutes to read our Articles of Faith. It is our desire to provide information to you that will help you understand what our beliefs and values are regarding marriage.
2. In order to book the chapel, we require that couples participate in a Premarital class. Our vision is to equip couples for Christ-centered, life long marriage. If you have already completed or plan on completing Premarital at another church, that’s great too! However, Premarital classes outside of North Coast Calvary Chapel are subject to approval.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
In doctrine, we are a conservative evangelical church. In practice, we expect to experience our doctrine by the active presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
WE BELIEVE
In the eternally existing Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In the Bible as the fully inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice
In God the Father who concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of man.
In Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son – in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, His atoning death, resurrection, ascension into heaven, and promise of His return to earth.
In the Holy Spirit and His present ministry of rebirth and renewal as well as the working of spiritual gifts.
That all people are sinners and yet made in the image of God.
Only repentance and faith in Christ can restore us into fellowship with God.
In the Church world-wide, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members.
In the Ordinance of Water Baptism and Communion.
In the personal, visible return of Christ to earth and the consummation of His kingdom.
In what is termed “The Apostles’ Creed” as embodying the fundamental facts of Christian faith. We endorse the historic orthodox creeds of the Church.
STATEMENT OF BIBLICAL AUTHORITY
This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent our faith. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For the purposes of church doctrine, practice, policy, employment, and discipline our Board of Directors is the church’s final interpretive authority.
STATEMENT OF MARRIAGE
Marriage has been ordained by God. This church defines “marriage” as the exclusive covenant union of one man and one woman.
THE BIBLICAL VIEW OF MARRIAGE
The institution of marriage is one the greatest gifts to mankind by God. His divine plan was revealed to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and described clearly in Genesis 2:24 where we read, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh.” The concept of the marriage covenant is central
to the Biblical view of the relationship between God and His people and between marital partners. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible compares God’s marriage covenant to His people with our marriage covenant to our spouses.
Marriage is not a social experiment left to the interpretation of society. For five thousand years of recorded history every civilization in the history of mankind has been built on it. To be very direct and succinct, the institution of marriage represents the very foundation of human social order. Everything of value sits on this cornerstone. Institutions, governments, religious organizations and the health and welfare of children are all dependent on its stability. When marriage is weakened or undermined, the entire superstructure of civilization is threatened.
Biblical Marriage is not a contract mandated by the state—it is a covenant between man and God. Human marriages are meant to be like God’s marriage covenant to His people in both purpose and permanence. The marriage covenant provides us with a clue to understanding the very heart of God. It helps us understand God’s redemptive purpose for
all mankind.
The primary purpose of marriage is to display the person and character of a loving God. It is through Christian marriage that the world can observe and learn of God’s love.

My given name is Michael Ann, but everyone calls me Miki. I have been married to my best friend, Rick, for 21 years, and God has blessed us with two amazing sons, Alex & Hunter, and a beautiful daughter, Daniella. Prior to coming on staff at North Coast Calvary Chapel, I had spent 10 years at the Four Seasons Aviara, where I served in a variety of roles across several departments. During that time, I had the privilege of planning and coordinating numerous events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, holiday celebrations, Wine Club events, and activities for the resort’s children.
