Meet the Team

A little background on me.
My walk with Jesus began in high school, and took flight in college at UCSD studying biology of all things! On campus I fell in love with studying scripture and Christian community through InterVarsity; where best of all I met my wife Stacy of 21 years.

Together, Stacy and I served with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship for 20 years. These years imparted both a great love for the lost as well as a deep longing for revival for the county and our nation at large. I served as the San Diego County Director for 10 years, leading our vibrant campus staff teams, preaching at student conferences around the country, and praying with students for revival every chance I got. In 2020, I even got to co-author a book on the subject with my dear friend, entitled Longing for Revival through InterVarsity Press.

Stacy continues to work with Intervarsity as a national coach/ trainer, helping the next generation of staff get fully funded for campus ministry. Her passion for revival energizes her efforts to see fully funded ministries on every college campus in the country for this next generation.

At the core of who I am, and all I’ve done in ministry, is my beloved family pictured here. They are my heart beat in so many senses of the word. Stacy and I have enjoyed worshipping at North Coast Calvary with our family for 14 years. Our teenage children – Ramón, Cellia, and Diego (from left to right) – are our absolute pride and joy, and our favorite people to spend time with. We are a fun-loving, high energy, extroverted, soccer loving, pizza eating, beach loving familia.

It’s a privilege and joy to lead our church into this next exciting season of fruitfulness. Thank you for welcoming me and my family into this sacred calling of following Jesus together.
