Coast Kids Preschool Staff since December 2011

Hi! My name is Amy Engel. I’m looking forward to working with your children in the afternoons in room 108. I have been working at Coast Kids Preschool for many years. I enjoy singing Christian songs with the children and creating art.

I have an art degree from the K.C. Art Institute. When I moved to California, I got my education in child development from both Palomar and Mira Costa College. I have taught in many preschools, with ages from two year olds to pre-K. I also have taught Sunday school.

My husband’s name is Scott. We have been married for 35 years. We have two girls, Alicia and Lea. Alicia is a caregiver and lives in Oceanside. Lea is a C.N.A. part time and is going to esthetician school.

Swimming is one hobby I enjoy while I’m not working. I also enjoy gardening and going to concerts with Scott.
