My name is Alejandra Sechrest. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with an additional Post Degree in Educational Administration. I have experience working principally teaching bilingual education to toddlers, Pre-Kinder, Kindergarten, and First Grade classrooms with a focus on art techniques, play-based learning, and the Reggio Emilia curriculum for over 10 years. The majority of my classes have been composed of multicultural, multilevel students with various educational backgrounds.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy the beach with my family. My husband and I are proud parents of two wonderful children. My eldest is a second grader and my youngest is a happy Pre-K student here at Coast Kids. Our pup Roscoe is 11 and is adjusting to having two big kids in his midst.
Other passions of mine are doing home improvement projects around the house, repurposing items, and giving them a second life. I also love taking art and design classes any chance I get.
I’m so excited to join class B103 as a Lead Teacher and I’m grateful to be part of Coast Kids Preschool team.
